Simple recycling of biowaste eggshells to various calcium phosphates for specific industries

Abstract Egg consumption is very high throughout the world and with it comes enormous amount of waste eggshells. To reduce utilize these wastes, eggshell wastes were simply transformed to low- or high-purity calcium carbonate grades by washing, crushing, drying use as raw materials for producing highly valuable phosphate products. Low-purity grade was used prepare triple superphosphate using in fertilizer industry, whereas produce dicalcium dihydrate, monocalcium monohydrate, tricalcium mineral feed food additive industries. All samples obtained simple, rapid, cheap, environmentally safe method eggshells phosphoric acid identified their structural phases impurities determined XRF, XRD FTIR techniques. Thermal behaviors prepared phosphates excepted investigated TG/DTG The methodologies described here will be useful manage converting them products, which can solve problem from industries communities. This finding supports viewpoint zero operation value-added products obtaining sustainable development, may selected an alternative way material recycling management future.
